In an unprecedented ceremony that occurs first time in the history of the UNT the rector of the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo First Grade distinctions gave the Liberator Simon Bolivar and outgoing deans medal awarded to the newly elected 10 new deans.
"This is a ceremony of identity with the UNT facing the bicentenary of the year 2024 plan because we reaffirm our commitment to work hand in hand with the Regional Government, employers and the community through social outreach," said the rector .
distinguished deans were Dr. Joseph Mostacero León (Biological Sciences), Dr. Segundo Roncal Saldaña (Pharmacy and Biochemistry), whose medal was received by his brother for being too frail Mg. Julio Aldama Flores (Education and Science Communication) and Dr. Lourdes Armas Fava (Medicine).
Similarly, Dr. Guillermo Gutiérrez Chacón (Social Sciences), Dr. Marcial Vasquez Arteaga (Physics and Mathematics) and Dr. Teodulo Santos Cruz (Law and Political Science), Dr. Juan Sánchez Bustamante (Engineering) Mg. Juan Guerrero Lluncor (Chemical Engineering) and Dr. Maria del Pilar Gomez Luján (School of Nursing).
The same First Degree Medal of the Liberator Simón Bolívar was conferred to the Director of the Graduate School outgoing Edquén Dr. Sebastian Bustamante. NEW DEANS
deans have chosen 10 of the 12 faculties, as in the case of the Faculty of Economics just been elected in June, while the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences serves as the organizing committee and dean of the current functions are as a manager.
Deans elected for the period 2011 - 2014 are Dr. Mario Escalante Añorga Hermes (Biological Sciences), Dr. Carlos Alberto Vasquez Boyer (Law and Political Science), Dr. Alberto Santiago Moya Obeso (Education and Communication Sciences) Dr. Marlene Soledad Pesantes Shimajuko (Nursing), Dr. Ramón Piminchumo Carranza (Pharmacy and Biochemistry).
