Hace a year, on March 8, 2010, the chancellor of the UNT, Dr. Orlando Velásquez Benites was sworn in as the highest authority of the First College Republican National University of Trujillo, where leading professionals have come to have excelled at national and international.

To them we say that the Peruvian University is above the political and economic power, their privileges beyond, because the Science and Technology, a country must be addressed by universities.

- As in any country in the world has to respect this autonomy in recent years has been overwhelmed and trampled. That has to change. The reorganization of universities must be from the governing body of the universities.
